Avian Dietary Toxicity Test

Poultry is of great importance for the balance of ecosystems and agricultural production. The “Poultry Nutritional Toxicity Test (OECD 205)” is applied to assess the toxic effects of chemicals to which poultry are nutritionally exposed. This test determines the toxicity levels of chemicals that poultry receive through the diet. During the test, the growth rates, food intake and health status of the poultry are monitored to assess the nutritional toxicity of the chemicals.
