Daphnia magna Reproduction Test
The health of freshwater ecosystems is crucial for biodiversity conservation. The “Water Flea Reproduction Test (OECD 211)” is applied to measure the reproductive ability of water fleas, which are commonly found in aquatic environments, against chemical substances.
This test is intended to assess the reproductive capabilities of various chemicals and environmental pollutants on water fleas. During the test, egg production of water fleas and survival rates of young individuals are monitored to determine the toxicity levels of the chemicals. This process determines how long and to what extent the tested substances affect the reproductive ability of water fleas.
As SIA Analysis Laboratories, we perform the Reproduction Test in Water Fleas with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) accreditation. Bu sayede çevresel kirleticilerin etkilerini tespit ve kontrol ediyor, sucul ekosistemlerin sağlığını korumak için bilimsel ve güvenilir veriler sağlıyoruz.
As SIA Analysis Laboratories, we are here for environmentally friendly solutions.
