Fish, Early-Life Stage Toxicity Test
The early life stages of fish are critical for the sustainability of aquatic ecosystems. The “Fish Early Life Stage Toxicity Test (OECD 210)” is used to assess the toxic effects of chemicals on eggs, larvae and juveniles of fish.
This test determines the effects of various chemicals on the survival, growth and development rates of fish at early life stages. During the test, the toxic effects of the chemicals are evaluated by monitoring egg fertilization, larval development and growth rates of young fish.
