Eye Irritation/Corrosion Test
The test aims to examine the eye irritation and corneal opacity changes that occur with the changes in the structural functions of the proteins after the exposure of the substances to the eye mucosa. At the end of the test period, the opacity of the cornea, the appearance of the iris and its sensitivity to light, the redness of the conjunctiva, the appearance of blood vessels, and the swelling of the eyelids are evaluated as the toxic activity of the tested substance.
Eye irritation tests are carried out in our laboratory, which is accredited within the scope of TÜRKAK GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), according to internationally valid test guidelines.
