Biocidal products are divided into more than one type according to their mechanism of action or the active substance they contain. Each type of biocidal product must be subjected to different tests to be licensed. Microbiological efficacy tests in biocidal products are tests related to the capacity to kill bacteria (bactericidal), the capacity to kill fungi (fungus), and the capacity to kill mycobacteria (mycobactericidal). In our microbiology analysis laboratory, microbiological efficacy tests of biocidal products are carried out by national/international standards. Efficacy tests of biocidal products such as products used in personal, medical, and public areas, products for human and veterinary hygiene, and drinking and pool water products are carried out.
