AMES Test
AMES-Bacteria Reverse Mutation Test (OECD 471) is performed to detect mutations in mutant Salmonella typhimurium bacterial strains in the presence or absence of S9, the metabolic activation substance of the polar and/or nonpolar extract prepared from medical devices. Statistical difference compared to positive and negative controls is investigated.
