SINGLE-DOSE TOXİCİTY

Acute toxicity tests are defined as the evaluation of the overall toxic effects of a single dose or multiple doses of a chemical or product by a given route (oral, dermal, inhalation) within 24 hours.

Acute systemic toxicity tests provide the lethal dose (LD50) value depending on the amount of the test substance in oral and dermal exposure of the test substance, and the lethal concentration (LC50) value in inhalation exposure. The lethal dose (LD50) or lethal concentration (LC50) is defined as the amount of test substance that causes a lethal effect in 50% of the laboratory animals used in the test.

GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) is defined as the quality system for planning, performing, monitoring, keeping records, archiving, and reporting organizational processes, and non-clinical health, and environmental safety studies. GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) ensures the reliability, reproducibility, and auditability of the results obtained from studies performed in a laboratory.

As SIA Analysis Laboratories, we provide services by national and international standards within the scope of GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) by expert personnel during the testing and evaluation of chemicals (industrial chemicals, pesticides, plant protection products, etc.).
